An Illinois Law Firm Guiding You Through

Probate & Guardianship Law

DuPage and Kane County

Probate Attorney

Welcome to the Law Office of Kevin Williams, an Illinois Probate and Guardianship law firm committed to quality legal work, professional integrity, and faith-based practice.

Currently, our firm serves five counties in the greater Chicago area:  Kane, DuPage, Kendall, Will, and Cook.  We will also consider probate and guardianship matters outside of these five counties on a case-by-case basis.

A Focus on Probate and Guardianship in Illinois

Some lawyers practice in many areas of the law and are generally competent to handle routine matters. However, we have shaped our practice to limit the areas of law we handle to be able to provide more precise and focused service.  This enables us to better serve our clients in both routine and complex matters in the probate court system.  In particular, our practice offers services in three specific areas of the law: Probate Administration, Adult Disabled Guardianships, and Minor Guardianships.  To learn more about the specific services we offer, visit our Services page.

Also, since our firm handles probate and guardianship matters in Kane, DuPage, Will, Cook, and Kendall Counties, we have become knowledgeable with the probate court system for each county, including the various judges, lawyers, and court clerks.  Familiarity with these systems ensures more efficiency and the ability to provide highly competent service for each case.

Old-Fashioned House Calls

The need for legal services can be overwhelming and confusing.  One way we can help to alleviate that pressure is by offering home appointments.  If you prefer this kind of appointment, we can come to your home for our meetings.  This will ensure the utmost privacy and allow for a familiar setting for you when dealing with a potentially stressful legal situation.
